Notice — By accessing, downloading, or utilising any assets from the Arttous Network, you acknowledge that all data is theoretical in nature. The following agreement constitutes a binding legal contract between you and Arttous Robotics Inc.
Definitions & Applicability
1.1. The Platform. "Arttous," "The Platform," "We," and "Us" refer to the Arttous Robotics experimental initiative, its creators, maintainers, and the associated digital infrastructure hosted on this domain and associated repositories.
1.2. The User. "You," "User," or "Entity" refers to any individual, machine logic, or corporate body accessing this site, downloading RTOS firmware, viewing 3D assets, or utilising our documentation.
1.3. Synthetic Data. Refers to all content including but not limited to: dual-core code repositories, 3D models (.glb, .stl), kinematic equations, firmware logic, and textual explanations generated through a collaborative process involving human engineering and Generative AI models.
License Grant & Restrictions
Arttous grants the User a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Synthetic Data subject strictly to the following terms:
2.1 Permitted Use — Educational & Research
Personal education and study of inverse kinematics and FreeRTOS architecture.
Non-commercial algorithmic training on our gait datasets.
Academic research, provided proper attribution is given to Arttous.
Simulation within virtual environments (Gazebo, Unity, Unreal Engine) where no physical harm can occur.
2.2 Prohibited Use — Industrial & Commercial
Industrial automation, manufacturing lines, or heavy machinery control.
Commercial product development or for-profit hardware sales.
Safety-critical systems including medical robotics, autonomous transport, or military applications.
Any application where failure of the software could lead to physical injury or death.
Nature of Theoretical Data
3.1 Human-AI Hybrid Origin
The User acknowledges that the content on Arttous is not the result of certified engineering standards (ISO/ASTM). It is the product of experimental collaboration between human enthusiasts and Generative AI. Consequently, the data may contain logical errors or physics calculations that function in simulation but fail in physical reality.
3.2 No Guarantee of Feasibility
We do not warrant that the 3D models provided are printable, structurally sound, or mechanically viable under high-torque loads. We do not warrant that the firmware code (C++ / Python) is free of bugs, memory leaks, or race conditions that could overheat or destroy physical motors.
Disclaimer of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Arttous Platform and its creators disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall Arttous be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages however caused and on any theory of liability, whether in contract, strict liability, or tort arising in any way out of the use of this software, even if advised of the possibility of such damage.
Plain language: If you build a robot using our code and it injures you, we are not responsible. You use this information entirely at your own risk.
Privacy Policy
5.1 Data Collection
We believe in data minimalism. For the security of the Mesh Network, we collect server logs (IP, browser type, timestamp), Specialist registration credentials (cryptographic hash only), and, where applicable, real-time sensor telemetry (IMU, battery voltage, LoRa coordinates) — anonymised and used for aggregate analysis.
5.2 Use of Data
Improving Inverse Kinematics algorithms.
Securing the platform against DDoS and brute-force attacks.
Verifying eligibility for community access.
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to third-party commercial entities.
Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located within Middlesex County, Ontario.
